About the Author

I would like to Express my appreciation to the Members of Life Gate Church-Nairobi for their great love and support in this immense work.

My special thanks also goes to my loyal assistants Pastors George A. Ahago, and Dennis W. Maina who typed, read through the manuscript and gave the necessary corrections.

Finally, I wish to register my gratitude to my dear wife and Queen Mrs. Jentrix for her unfailing support. May God richly bless you all! In Jesus Name

To Mrs. Esther Kimani [mama Kim] and her entire House-hold. Your Sacrifices and Labour in Lord has made a great difference. May you excel and be all that you were created to be. You remain special and a mother to us all.

God’s end time program for the church is enlargement. Moving on to positively influence and impact the world. Making her the envy of all that seek significance in life.

Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

This is re-emphasized in Micah 4:1-2 and more other scriptures throughout the bible. However, this enlargement is not for the church as body only, but also for the individuals that make up the body.

The quality of a good house is determined by the quality of the parts that constitute it. You as a member of the body must be bettered to bring about the all round attraction of the whole body.

The bible describes the end time as a time when at least ten unbelievers will take hold of a believer by his skirt and say, “We will follow you, for we have heard that God is with you” (Zech. 8:23).

This will be as a result of the divine prominence believers will be enjoying, and which will be so glaring for all to see. When you become a center piece all will gather around you.

It means that as an end time saint, you too should expect to end your journey in prominence, by reason of God’s lifting. Moreover, …the path of a just man is as the shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).

So, continuous progress and promotion are your heritage, if you are born again. You must never have a better yesterday! Every year must be to you a plus of the previous.

You will enjoy this in Christ from henceforth. When life is void of progress, it becomes a burden. But living is exiting when every thing you do yields good results. Progress is your heritage, because you are created to go from glory to glory (2Cor. 3:18).

Also, Jesus said you are a city set upon a hill that cannot be hid (Matt. 5:14). So, getting to the top in life is not just your desire, it is your destiny.

You are destined to wax great, and go forward, and grow until you become very great! Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: (Genesis 26:12-13)

However, it is important to note here that progress is in phases, and that every advancement is traceable to the quality of information available to you and equal determined adjustments.

As you apply the scriptural principles for progress that I reveal to you in this book, I see your story of stagnation change into testimonies of continuous progress and enlargement, till Jesus comes. You are created to be great; you shall not die small! You will go forward, in Jesus’ Name.

Key #1. Vision

The first key of divine progress is vision. If you don’t know where you are going, how will you tell when you arrive? You must have a target that you are striving to achieve or attain in life, a goal that keeps you going. Having a mental picture of your destination is what motivates you to get there. That is what we call vision. God told Abraham…

And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. (Genesis 13:14-15)

Abraham had a mental picture of all the fruitful lands of Canaan (a goodly land flowing with milk and honey) and his descendants eventually possessed it (Josh. 23:3-5). You can only posses as far as your eyes can see.

Each stage of life’s enlargement is born out of a vision. Until you see beyond where you are you can’t move any further! It is your foresight that compels your forward marching.

What you can’t see today, don’t expect to possess it tomorrow! That little business you are managing today will remain little, until you begin to see farther. What your vision can’t catch is beyond your hand to handle!

Every enlargement or progress you encounter in life begins with vision. Wherever you find your self tomorrow is a function of what you see today. God said to Abraham, “Look at the stars, see if you can count them.” He couldn’t, and therefore God said to him, “So shall your seed be” (Gen.15:5).

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. (Gen15:5)

Abraham saw an uncountable number of stars that day, that is why the earth is full of the sons and daughters of Abraham today, including you and me, who belong to that lineage by the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ (Gal.3:14).

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Gal 3:13-14)

Vision that is it! So, begin to see your business affect the economy of your nation. Begin to see your self a commander in your career and of the wealth of the land. That is where you belong, and you will surely get there.

Dreamers are rulers, visionaries are commanders. You are a son /daughter of the Most High; you are not created to live like a pauper. So see yourself as the head and not the tail!

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. (Jer1:11-12)

How you see what you see matters to God! Before He performs what he promised you, you have need to personally perceive and conceive it in your vision. Things are to you the way they are, not because they are supposed to be so, but mainly because you see them so! Until you change the way you look at life it may never be better than you see it.

God emphatically asks, “What do you see?” Until you can distinctively answer that question, your journey into progress is yet to start! Someone once said, 98% of the people who don’t like the way things are in the world today, also cannot tell you the kind of world they would like. You must check your vision for it carries all you will ever experience and attain.

And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town. (Mark 8:22-26)

This reveals the danger of wrong vision! The Lord Jesus would not let this man go any further as long as his vision was wanting. A man who sees men as trees will never have appreciation for the value of man. Jesus responded with great urgency, in ensuring that the man is better of seeing nothing than seeing wrongly. It is God’s avenue to secure your destiny by ensuring that you see clearly.
